2026 Artist Application - National Celtic Folk Festival

Artist Application

Applications for the National Celtic Folk Festival, Friday June 5th - Monday June 8th 2026.

Thank you for taking the time to consider and apply for the 2026 Festival. The whole team is looking forward to building on the success of last year!

Before you apply, we ask that you read the Artist Application Guidelines and complete the application form below.

We give preference to artists/performers who align with our vision – to host a premier event of international and national significance that provides an authentic expression of Celtic & Folk culture across the Arts (This includes, but is not limited to music, song, dance, theatre and storytelling).

At the heart of the festival is community with a focus on inclusivity and participation. The festival encompasses both traditional and contemporary interpretations within the Australian Folk setting and supports the sustainability of the culture in a contemporary context.

We also encourage Artists/Performers to participate in all aspects of the festival. We encourage connection amongst community and fellow artists. We urge you to consider what you can bring to the festival for example - offering a workshop or hosting a special concert.
